ラグジュアリーブランドがこぞって使用するNORITAKE製超高級ジャージーを使用したシャツ。 速乾性、耐洗濯性、防シワ性にも優れご自宅で洗って乾かすだけで何も考えずに平日も休日もラクに決まるアイテム。 身幅はあるが生地を薄々、ツルツル素材変更をし 、去年のモデルよりハリ感を少なくしたおかげで丁度いドレープ感のあるシルエットにしました。 夏にも着られるようにおいしいとこ取りをした万能アイテムです。 軽さと柔らかさを実感できます。

TOKYO BASEがこだわる“メイド イン ジャパン”をベースに、日本を代表するデザイナーと製作したアイテムを展開している。

THE PERMANENT EYEは2021年9月にスタートしたプロジェクトブランドです。 今回発表するメンズセカンドコレクションは、 1人のデザイナーと、よりコンセプチュアルであり、スタイルを完成させられる内容を目指しました。 デザイナーを担当していただいたのは元ATTACHMENT/アタッチメント・デザイナー熊谷 和幸氏。 熊谷氏のもつファッションデザインに対する確かな知識とミニマルなデザインに個性を持たせる独特のバランス感、今も尚学び続ける姿勢。行動スピード。 今回のTHE PERMANENT EYEを誰にお願いしようかと考えたときに、 熊谷氏がアタッチメントを離れるタイミングと重なっていたこともあり、すぐに熊谷氏にお願いしたいと思いました。 デザイナー熊谷 和幸氏 経歴 イッセイ ミヤケに5年間在籍。その後、他社への転職を経て独立、99S/Sにブランド「アタッチメント」をスタート。 服を、着る人の魅力や個性、内面を引き出す“付属”として捉え、ディテールをそぎ落としたシンプルで普遍性のあるウェアを提案。2007年秋冬シーズンより、海外向けのコレクションラインとして「カズユキ クマガイ」をスタート

Based on TOKYO BASE’s commitment to “MADE IN JAPAN,” it develops products in collaboration with leading Japanese designers.

Director Comment
THE PERMANENT EYE is a project brand launched in September 2021.
For this second men’s collection, we aimed to create a more conceptual lineup that allows for a fully realized style, working closely with a single designer.
The designer for this collection is Mr. Kazuyuki Kumagai, former designer of ATTACHMENT.
His deep knowledge of fashion design, unique sense of balance that brings individuality to minimal aesthetics, continuous pursuit of learning, and remarkable speed in execution all made him a natural choice for this project.
The timing also aligned with his departure from ATTACHMENT, which led us to immediately reach out to him.

Designer Profile: Kazuyuki Kumagai
He spent five years at ISSEY MIYAKE before working at other companies and eventually launching his own brand, ATTACHMENT, in the Spring/Summer 1999 season.
He views clothing as an “attachment” that enhances the wearer’s individuality and inner character, proposing simple and timeless designs with refined minimal details.
In Autumn/Winter 2007, he launched “KAZUYUKI KUMAGAI” as an international collection line.
